Locking cable, removing and installing

Note:

Locking cable must not be kinked.

Adjust locking cable after installing

page 37-

Removing

- Remove selector lever handle.

- Remove cover with cover strip.

- Remove center console.

Repair Manual, Body-Exterior, Body-Interior,

Repair Group 70.

- Loosen cable anchor screw, take locking cable

out of locking lever and pull out of cable anchor.

- Remove locking cable from clip (arrow).

- Remove trim pieces from ignition/starter switch.

- Press locking cable clip out of ignition/starter

switch and remove locking cable from ball head.

- Take out locking cable.
