19. Software Update

While radio is powered on, insert USB or SD card, USB or SD card has software update file plus other files.

Radio will switch to software update mode if long press more than 5 sec SK [1] and [5] buttons.

Bluetooth icon is not showed in this mode.

The maximum time is 15 minutes for updating process.

Short press SK 1 [YES] button, radio will begin to update. Display will show “SOFTWARE UPDATING…

Short press SK 6 [NO] or 5 sec. no action, radio will revert to the LSM.

When software update is finished, the radio will display FINISH per 5 seconds.

5 second time out, the radio will reset and revert to tuner initial condition.

In updating process some problem happens, the radio will display “ERROR” all of the time until user remove the

USB/SD card. Then radio will revert to the LSM.

Other way to update software is via CAN active.
