3 Touchscreen
The screen of the Touch Adapter is a so-called touchscreen, that means a contact sensitive screen. The
display and contents change depending on the menu and the language selected (see
Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 ).

The operation in the main menu Fig. 1 (mobile telephone coupled) is carried out using the following
pushbuttons:
Volkswagen info and emergency-breakdown quick dial pushbuttons
Select number Select the telephone number using the numeric keypad
Telephone book Opens the telephone book saved in the Touch Adapter
More Menus call redial, call lists, text messages and settings
The operation in the main menu Fig. 2 (mobile telephone coupled) is carried out using the following
pushbuttons:
Without function when no mobile telephone is coupled
Day / night Changes the screen display between day and night mode
Connect telephone Starts to search for the mobile telephones saved and automatically couples
the first mobile telephone found or switches the Bluetooth
®
function of the
Touch Adapter to visible when no mobile telephone has been saved
More Menus call redial, call lists, text messages and settings
The operation is carried out within the menu using the following pushbuttons:
Continue to the next menu
Move (scroll) upwards within the menu
Move (scroll) downwards within the menu
Back to the previous menu (press briefly) or to the main menu (keep pressed)
Accept call
End or reject call
Delete entry
Increase settings
Reduce settings
