2.4 Replacement of a Recording Interface Board
•
Shut down the recorder application
•
Switch off the power
•
Make sure that all cables and connectors are disconnected from the recorder
•
Disassemble the recorder from the rack
•
Put the recorder on a safe place.
•
Open the screws of the recorder housing cover and remove it.
•
Open the screws of the protective rail and remove it
•
If analogue interface board must be replaced, please remove first the alarm cable
•
Open the screws of the slot bracket of the interface board to be replaced and remove it
carefully
•
Pull the board vertically (extract from the PCI connector).
•
Keep the board in an antistatic bag.
