Introduction

VMIC’s VMICPCI-7611 features additional capabilities beyond those of a typical IBM 
PC/AT-compatible CPU. The unit provides a programmable Watchdog timer for 
synchronizing and controlling multiple events in embedded applications. The 
VMICPCI-7611 also provides a bootable Flash Disk system. These features make the 
unit ideal for embedded applications, particularly applications where standard hard 
drives and floppy disk drives cannot be used.
