PRO LIFTS S.L.
CAUTION
When two towers are used to elevate a bridge
or many towers to elevate a structure of any
type, it is almost impossible that two or more
people co-ordinate the winches elevating or
lowering the loads, at exactly the same pace.
At a certain point each tower will be extended
to a height different to that of the others.
For this reason it is necessary that the
subjections of the structure account for this
and allow for these differences. With a rigid fix-
ing and if the level difference is significant, the
force generated from the handle of the winch
will deform the structure and apply a lateral
force to the lifts causing them to break and
block.
Security system ILS
The towerlift incorporates the security system
ILS
(Inertia Lock Security)
.
This system automatically blocks the tower in
case of the cable breaking.
4.7 -
Elevation:
Turn the winch crank clockwise to lift the
carriage a few centimeters. Release the forks
and place them in the working position,
inserting the pins. Turn the crank clockwise
and the tower will lift.
Quick Operation Guide
ENGLISH
4.8 -
Hold:
The tower can be left in any intermediate
position necessary. Just stop turning the handle
of the winch and leave it. The automatic brake
of the winch will block it and hold the load.
4.9 - Lowering:
To bring the lift down just turn the winch in the
appropiate anti clockwise direction to lower the
carriage and all the profiles. The sections will
lower one by one.
4.10 - Transport:
For the transport of the tower it is necessary to
fold the lift lowering completely all the profiles
and placing the outriggers in their slots located
on the base of the lift. The lift can then be
transported on its wheels.
