Password Input

There are several passwords that are used by your phone and its SIM card. These passwords help you protect
your phone against unauthorized use.

Phone Password

The phone password is used for unlocking the keys, deleting all Phonebook entries, restoring the factory setting,
and locking or unlocking the phone. If the Phone Lock feature is enabled, you must enter the password each time
turning the phone on.

This password can be used to avoid unauthorized use of your phone. The password is usually preset to "0000'.

PIN Code

PIN(Personal Identification Number)code protects your SIM card against unauthorized use. The PIN code is
usually supplied with the SIM card. When the PIN code request is enabled, the code is asked each time the
phone is switched on.

If you key in incorrect PIN code three times in succession, enter the PUK code and then press the OK key. When
you enter a new PIN code, enter a new password two times and then press the OK key.
