High Altitude
Use this function to adjust the cooling fan of the projector to get well cooling if the projector is installed in an area over
4000 feet. The projector is equipped with an altitude sensor which is capable of detecting atmosphere pressure for
estimating altitude. If the Auto option is set to “AUTO”, then the system can adjust automatically to corresponding settings
that are based on an estimated altitude. If you prefer to manually set this feature, you can select On or Off.
Off:
Turn off High Altitude mode if the projector is installed in an area under 4000 feet.
On:
Turn on High Altitude mode if the projector is installed in an area over 4000 feet.
Auto:
Set up this mode automatically by estimated altitude.
Important:
Inproper setting may cause to insufficient air flow for system cooling, then trigger system protection, please
make sure the setting can match with the installation condition.
Estimate Altitude is calculated by the atmospheric pressure. There is a tolerance when comparing to actual
altitude. If any over temperature or system protection message appears, please manually adjust the High
Altitude settings to On
In some applications, regular cooling fan settings may not supply enough cold air for system cooling even
when the projector is installed in an area under 4000 feet. In this case, please switch the High Altitude to On.
