Zoom Playback
While reviewing your images, you may enlarge a selected portion of an image.
The camera has the ability to zoom (enlarge) images during playback at 2X or
4X. When reviewing an image, you may enlarge a selected portion of an image.
This magnification allows you to view fine details.
1. Slide the switch and power on the
camera.
2. Set the mode dial to the Playback mode.
The last image frame appears on the
LCD monitor.
3. Use the or buttons to select the frame
you want to enlarge.
4. Adjust the zoom ratio by using the
telephoto button or wide-angle
button.
Pressing the telephoto button will
enlarge the image.
To return to normal magnification, press
the wide-angle button.
The image is displayed enlarged, you will
see a red frame with a red box inside.
In the lower left-hand corner of the
display there is a red frame and an solid
red rectangle. The frame represents the
entire image, while the solid red
rectangle represents the location of the
currently enlarged area within the
context of the entire frame..
5. Use the , , or buttons to select the
area to enlarge.
6. To return to the regular display from
4X-enlarged status, press the button
twice.
•Pressing the button magnifies the image from X1 X2 X4.
•Pressing the button reduces the image from X4 X2 X1.
