Using as a PC Camera
To use the digital camera as a PC Camera, you must
make sure the camera is set to the Setup mode. Rotate
the Mode Dial to the Setup Mode
and then connect
the camera to the computer using the USB port.
When connected, the camera can be used in
conjunction with any commercially available
video capture software to create your own
home videos. Then you can edit and distribute your
video files through the Internet or save them to CD-ROM
for later viewing on your PC or through a VCD player
(CD burner required).
It can also be used with software such as Microsoft
NetMeeting™ for real-time videoconferencing.
To use the digital camera as a PC Camera you
must set the camera to the Setup mode.
To use the digital camera in MSD mode, you can use
any of the modes except for the setup mode.
