6. Operating instructions
6.1 Unpacking and inspecting the product

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to
keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please
observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal,
contact your local waste management center.

Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be
incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.
6.2 Intended use
This product is intended for making coffee. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries.
This product is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for household use and similar applications
only, such as for example:
- in employee cafeterias, in stores, offices and other working environments;
- by customers in hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
- in Bed and Breakfast establishments;
- in farm houses.
6.3 Before first time use
Note
Clean the appliance before first use. Clean the product even if it has not been used for a long
time and after each decalcification. Refer to the section on
Cleaning and Maintenance
.
1. Fill the water tank (3) with fresh water.
2. Insert the glass coffee pot (7) into the appliance.
3. Press the
AN / AUS
switch (15) twice to turn on the appliance. The power indicator (14) will turn on.
4. Wait until the tank is empty. Press the
AN / AUS
switch (15) to turn off the appliance.
Note
Allow the product to cool for about 5 minutes before brewing again. Repeat this process two
to three times. Pour away the water after each brewing cycle.
5. Clean the glass jug (7) and the filter holder (1).
