SAFETY REGULATIONS
The precautions are listed in these
safety regulations for the purpose
that the machine can be used safely
and the operators and other people
and properties can be prevented
from being hurt or damaged.
Full consideration on safety has
been taken during the design and
manufacturing of this welding machine.
Please read these safety regulations
carefully before operating this machine.
Otherwise, fatal personal safety
accidents may occur, such as
severe injury, even death.
Some dangerous factors are
contained during the use of this
machine and the correct operation
procedures shall be followed.
In order to avoid the severe
personal injuries, the operators shall
strictly follow the procedures below:
Unrelated personnel shall not get
into the site of welding operations.
Patients who use the cardiac
pacemakers shall not operate the
machine or get close to the welding
site without the doctors advices.
The machine shall be installed, operated
and maintained by the professionals or
people with related experiences.
The welding operations shall be
done by people who are familiar with
the safety operation technologies.
The machine shall not be used for
purposes other than welding.
The input power shall be in
compliance with the rated voltage
as specified on the nameplate.
For welding work with the need to
withstand large stress or specific
safety requirements, it must be
done by those welders having
received special training and passed
corresponding assessment
In order to prevent fire, explosion
and cracking, the operator shall
follow the particulars below when
using the machine:
Explosion or fire may cause burn
or death.
Welding operations shall not
be done on containers which
contain inflammable substances or
inflammable gas and liquid.
Hazardous substances such
as inflammable articles and
inflammable gases shall not be
placed at the welding site.
Please do not make welding
operations on airtight containers
or other tanks (box), pipeline, etc,
which contain gases.
The welding cables shall be
connected under complete insulation.
Please do not make the warm base
metal, which were just welded,
close to the inflammable articles.
Please equip the fire-fighting
facilities at the welding site for
emergency use.
The welding operation of the
machine shall be segregated from
the grinding operation.
The accumulation of dust will deteriorate
the insulation, so regular maintenance
and repairing are required.
In order to prevent electric shock, the
regulations below shall be followed:
Before using the welding machine,
please ask the electric technicians
to make proper earthing for the
welding machine and the base metal
in accordance with the related rules.
When the machine is installed or
repaired, please turn off the input
power and unplug the power plug.
The power shall be turned off
when the electrode holder needs
to be replaced.
Please do not use the cables which
have insufficient capacity, damaged
insulation or aging insulations.
Please wear dry and insulating work
gloves.
Please do not operate the machine
when the casing is removed.
Please use anti-shock protective
equipment when the welding
machine is used in narrow place or
at high position.
The power shall be turned off after
the welding operation is completed.
Please do not use the welding
machine in rain or places with
relatively high humidity.
The welding operation site shall
have good ventilation.
Before operating the machine,
please wear the special protective
spectacles (DIN Grad 9-11) fixed
on the shoulder guard for eyes
protection and wear the long-
sleeve work clothes, leather gloves,
protection boots and leather apron
during operation to avoid skin
injury from the ultraviolet radiation
produced by arc of lighting.
Do not stare at arc of lighting with
naked eyes, but use a protective
mask equipped with glass in
accordance with German Industrial
Standards.
The arc of lighting sends out not
only optical and thermal radiation
but also ultraviolet radiation, which
will lead to burns.
In the process of welding or
welding supervision, please use the
protective mask with proper light
shielding ability.
While welding, ensure that those not
involved welding work keep at least
15 m away from the arc of lighting.
