To connect the unit to the mains, insert
the plug of the power cord (14) into
the socket.
–
Power surges or electrostatic discharge
may cause malfunction in the unit oper-
ation. In such a case unplug the unit
and remove the battery. After 5 minutes
install the battery back to its place (see
above) and switch the unit on.
Attention!
Batteries leakage can cause injuries or
unit damage. To avoid damages, follow the
recommendations specified below:
•
insert the battery following the polarity
(with the «plus» upward);
•
remove the battery if you are not plan-
ning to use the unit for a long time;
•
do not dismantle the battery, do not
subject it to high temperatures;
•
replace the battery in time.
CURRENT TIME MODE
Date and time setting

Date and time displaying

To view the date in the current
time mode, repeatedly press the
«Y-M-D/
» button (8).

To switch the automatic sequential
date and time displaying mode on,
press and hold the «Y-M-D/
» but-
ton (8) until the symbol «ON» appears
on the display. Indications of the cur-
rent time and date (year, month and
day) will supersede each other con-
secutively on the display (6).
–
To switch the sequential display-
ing mode off, press and hold the
«Y-M-D/
» button (8) until the sym-
bol «OFF» appears on the display.
Setting the clock to winter/summer
time
–
To switch the clock to summer time
(+1 Hr), press the «DST» button (2) in
current time mode and hold down it for
3 seconds.
–
Press and hold the «DST» button (2)
for 3 seconds to return to winter time
