BLENDING
1. After steaming, allow the appliance to cool for at least
3 minutes. Press the orange button to lift the cover,
remove the lid from the jug and lift the steaming
basket from the jug using the spatula provided.

2. We recommend retaining some of the residual water.
Using a lot of the residual water will give you a smooth
puree after blending. Using a little residual water will
give you a chunkier texture. Remember, the residual
water contains essential nutrients.
CAUTION: Be careful when handling the residual water,
as this could be hot.
3. Return your ingredients from the steaming basket into
the jug ready for blending. Use the spatula to handle
the steaming basket. See diagram 5.
4. Once the ingredients have been returned to the jug,
replace the jug lid and place the jug back on to the
base unit. See diagrams 6 & 7.
5. Press the
button to select the blend function.
Further pressing the
button gives you individual
pulses of blending. If you press and hold this button, it
will blend continuously until you release. The longer the
blend function is in use, the smoother consistency of
food you will have. The display will show how long you
have been blending, until you release the blend button.
