Model alarm using Aux in1

Take the relevant transmission routes into operation.
l
Check the dial-up number(s) for alarms: Connections\Phone & IP numbers (if necessary to your receiver
PC or to the control station). (See "Parameter settings for the device" on page 12).

Ensure that the device is not in the alarm status. (See "Front View and Description" on page 2, "LED
Alarm - Red").
l
Close the connection from Aux in1 and to the relevant device ground for at least 500 ms.
l
Check to see whether the alarm is correctly sent to your receiver PC or to the control station.
SmartControl should report "Online/Tamper alarm" in the status line bottom right in this case:
Note: If using a general alarm control input or camera-specific control input for alarm testing, please
ensure that the Smart device is armed beforehand.
