Timers
The timer feature can be used to set recording timer for a certain channel and time. The recording will
start in background, using the second tuner allowing you to continue watching a different programme
during the recording, when the start time is achieved. (During the recording the channel number of the
recording is shown in the display on the front panel to the right of the channel number being viewed. Also
the record I-bar will be shown if the i-key is pressed.)
In order to set a timer the following steps are performed:
1. Press menu and select the Timer administration option.
2.
Press the Blue key to create a new timer. The Create a timer menu will be displayed.
3.
Select the channel by pressing the right/left keys. The service list will be opened.
4. Press OK to select the service and to close the service list.
5.
Select Date, Start und End time using the up/down arrow keys.
6.
Modify date and time using right/down arrow key and number keys.
7.
Press OK to apply the modifications.
Navigate with the up and down cursor keys to the chosen timer and press the yellow key in order to delete a
single timer entry.
