3.5.5.4 Select the appropriate option
Once the machine is as far away as possible from the patient, and the patient's eye
is moderately centered on the axis, select the appropriate option according to the
type of study to be carried out:
•
Pre-Without inlay
for those patients who do not have the KAMRA™ "inlay"
implanted.
•
Post-With inlay
for those patients who have the KAMRA™ "inlay" implanted.
At the moment you select one of the 2 options, the laser will be activated and the
patient will be able to see it. From here on out, the patient should always try to look
at the laser.
The Automatic and Manual options indicate to the program whether the image has
to be studied automatically, or if you will be the one who marks one of the following
situations on it once the image has been acquired:
•
In Pre-Without inlay acquisitions, the pupil.
•
In Post-With inlay
acquisitions, the KAMRA™ "inlay".
