UGESTIONS BEFORE TEMPERATURE TAKINGS
1.
Replace any low-voltage battery to ensure full power supply.
2.
For proper measurement, leave the thermometer for 30 minutes in
measurement location.
3.
An unexpected fluctuation of ambient temperature is likely to affect
measurement accuracy. When a measurement site temperature varies with the
thermometer location, or taking a temperature measurement in front of an air
conditioner, precise results will not be possible.
4.
Be sure to keep ear clean from cerium deposits and other blockage as this can
cause inaccuracy.
5.
Measurement should be taken at rest time to ensure an accurate result.
Temperature is likely to increase immediately after exercise or bathing.

OW TO TAKE THE MEASUREMENT
1)

O MEASURE EAR TEMPERATURE
:

THE PROBE COVER from the unit, insert the
temperature probe along the eardrum as deep as
possible into the ear, then press
once to start
the measurement & you will hear a beep sound. Upon
completion you will hear two short beep sounds. The
result appears on the LCD screen. If the Talk
function is on, the result is given via a speaker.

O MEASURE FOREHEAD TEMPERATURE
:
Place the FOREHEAD PROBE onto the unit, then gently
position the probe towards the right side of the forehead
and midway between the eyebrow and the hairline.
Press
once to start the measurement you will hear
a beep sound. Upon completion you will hear two short
beep sounds. The result appears on the LCD screen. If
the Talk function is on, the result is given via a speaker.
3) The result is automatically stored and memorized. (Please note that data stored
more than 30 days will be automatically erased)
4) For 3 Consecutive measurements the results may not be the same, if this should
be the case wait for 1 minute between each measurement

Measuring range: From 32,0°C to 42,9°C (89,6°F to 109,2°F)

"HI" displayed for result above 42,9°C / 109,2°F.

"LO" displayed for result below 32,0°C / 89,6°F.
6) At measurement completion, the unit automatically returns to time mode after 30
seconds.
7) The display screen will be turned off automatically after 3 minutes
