on the edge of the door. Press down the two levers "L"
(Fig. 6), adjust the cutting depth of the accessory and
begin trimming.
Before removing the machine from the
accessory, place the trimmer at its highest
position so that the accessory is hidden
in the base "K" (Fig. 5), thus preventing
accidental contact with the template.
b) To carry out recesses on the front, loosen the two
levers "L" (Fig. 6) and move the base "B" (Fig. 6) com-
pletely towards one side of the accessory so that it does
not interfere with the trimming process on each front
section. For a perfect finish, we recommend that you trim
only half way through the door, for each front section.
10. PLACING THE ACCESSORY ON A FRAME
- Replace the template for the edge used to trim the door
with the appropriate template for the frame.
- To trim recesses on a frame, first remove the side
holders of the templates "F" (Fig. 3). Simply loosen the
two levers "N" (Fig. 3) and withdraw the entire unit.
- Place the accessory on the frame so that the centre
mark of the base "B" (Fig. 2) is at the same height as that
used for the door. Fix the clamp vises "G" (Fig. 7) firmly
on the frame, turning the crank handles "H" (Fig. 7).
11. TRIMMING RECESSES ON A FRAME
Loosen the two levers "L" (Fig. 6) and adjust the accessory
to the frame, following the instructions given in Section
9 about the trimming process on a door.
12. PRODUCTION TRIMMING ON SEVERAL DOORS
- Should you wish to trim recesses on several doors and
position the locks at the same height, we recommend
that you use the height bars "O" (Fig. 8).
- Once you have decided the height of the lock on the
first door and placed the accessory in the trimming
position, mount the height bars and insert them in the
clamp vise apertures "P", so that the limiter disc "Q" has
its limit at the upper edge of the door. Fix the height
bars in this position with the Allen wrench a/f 4 mm.
- For the following door, all you will need to do is place
the limiter disc "Q" so that it rests on the upper edge
of the door and fix the clamp vises in this position. In
this way, all the recesses will be at the same height.
- If so desired, the height bars can also be used without
the limiter disc as a height reference relative to the floor.
13. WARRANTY
All VIRUTEX machines and accessories are covered by
a warranty that is good for one year following their
supplying. The warranty does not cover damage that has
occurred as a result of tampering or improper handling.
Neither does it cover the normal wear and tear of the
machine. All repairs should be carried out by the official
VIRUTEX technical assistance service.

2. DESCRIPTION
L'Accessoire de Mortaisage UC16K est un accessoire
pour la Défonceuse FR66P, à employer pour la réali-
sation de entailles pour des serrures de tout type, sur
portes et encadrements. Particulièrement conçu pour le
mortaisage de serrures à ouverture à carte magnétique,
antipanique et spéciales.
Son système spécial de fixation permet de réaliser des
entailles sur des portes déjà montées sans en endom-
mager la surface. Il peut également travailler en position
horizontale.
