Ready to Play!
When you feel ready to enter the Verse, be sure TRAVR is up and running on your PC, then grab
your controller, put on your HMD, and enter a new world!
Doc V: “TRAVR is the name of a secret organization tasked with protecting
humanity. Its first and most immediate mission is to thwart the evil
machinations of the cult known as Hades. To find out more about the history
of the organization and how it came into being, check out the TRAVR
chapter in the back of this manual.”
Doc V: “If you’re wearing a virtual reality
HMD for the first time, we recommend
you check the safety instructions for this
device that should have been included
by the HMD manufacturer.”
To strafe on the Omni, be sure that you are leaning towards the back of the Ring (i.e., your
Harness is positioned in the back half of the Ring), and move either your left or right foot
outwards. Do not lean forward while attempting to strafe.
To walk backwards on the Omni, be sure that you are leaning towards the back of the ring (i.e.,
your Harness is positioned in the back half of the Ring). Do not lean forward while attempting
to move backwards.
