7) Set the wheels and covers aside until the final
assembly stage.
8) Identify and remove parts in the following
quantities from the laser cut sheets:
1 off each
LG1R, LG2R, LG3R, LG1L, LG2L, LG3L, LG4
and LG5
.
9) Follow the instructions on the plan to make up
the two main undercarriage leg assemblies. Be
very careful to make sure that you make a left
hand and right hand assembly as shown.
10) In parts LG4 and LG5 make a groove following
the line etched into the parts. This is best
achieved using the left over piece of wire from
the undercarriage legs, or failing that an empty
ball point pen drawn along to simply ‘dent’ the
wood. Assemble then shape the parts as shown
on the plan.
11) Set all of the wheels and undercarriage parts
aside until they are assembled to the model later.
REMAINING PARTS FOR USE
IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE MODEL
1) After all of the previous building steps have
been completed there should be the following
parts left on the laser cut sheets:
2 off each IS1
and IS2
. Remove these parts from the sheets
and set them aside ready for use in the assembly
of the model after covering.
