6.1 Refrigerant
BEWARE
The appliance contains in the refrigerant circuit the refrigerant
isobutane (R600a), a highly environmentally compati ble
natural gas that is infl ammable.
While transporti ng and installing the appliance ensure that no
parts of the refrigerant circuit are damaged.
PROCEDURE IF THE REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT IS DAMAGED:
• avoid open fi re and igniti on sources at all costs
• ensure that the room in which the appliance is located is well venti lated
7 Installation
7.1 Positi oning
The appliance should be located in a well venti lated and dry room. The ambient
temperature aff ects the power consumpti on and correct functi on of the
appliance.
Suffi cient air circulati on on the rear wall and upper edge of the appliance
must be guaranteed. For opti mal venti lati on of the appliance the minimum
venti lati on crossecti ons must be observed: i.e. positi on the refrigerator at least
100 mm away from the wall, and furthermore a space of 20 mm must be left
to the right and to the left , and 300 mm at the top. If you wish to place the
appliance on a carpet, ensure that you use a solid and smooth base.
