2.2 Explanati on of the safety instructi ons
WARNING
denotes a dangerous situati on which could lead to serious
injury or death if not observed!
BEWARE
denotes a dangerous situati on which could lead to slight or
moderate injury if not observed!
IMPORTANT
denotes a situati on which could cause considerable damage to property or the
environment if not observed.
2.3 General safety instructi ons
In an emergency, remove the plug from the socket immediately.
WARNING
Hold the plug by the electric cable when plugging
in, and never pull it out with damp or wet hands.
Electric shock is life-threatening!
• Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
• Pull the plug out of the socket before any cleaning or maintenance
interventi on.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• If cables or plugs are damaged, the appliance must no longer be used.
• Apart from the cleaning and maintenance work described in this o perati on
manual, the appliance must not be interfered with in any way. Any acti on
taken contrary to these directi ons may lead to loss of the warranty.
