If an object gets stuck in the Petrol tiller, switch it off and disconnect the
spark plug lead. Allow the Petrol tiller to cool before removing the object.

Watch out for when the Petrol tiller can suddenly bounce up or forwards if
the blades knock against concrete, asphalt or some other hard surface, such
as a large stone buried or concealed under the soil.

Never attempt to change or modify the engine or the Petrol tiller from the
way it has been delivered from the factory. This could result in personal or
fatal injury.

Always disconnect the spark plug lead from the spark plug before
maintenance, cleaning or replacing parts on the engine or Petrol tiller, and
position it so that it cannot touch the spark plug.

Make sure that the Petrol tiller is switched off when using tools and when
moving it from one place to another without using the drive mechanism.

Never work on steep slopes; wear high quality safety shoes when using the
Petrol tiller.

Always check the area to be rotavated to make sure there are no objects
that can be flung up by the Petrol tiller.
Warning for exhaust fumes

All engines emit carbon monoxide via the exhaust fumes. Hot gases are a
normal by-product from a correctly functioning catalytic converter. Carbon
monoxide is a lethal gas that is colorless, odorless and tasteless and can
therefore be present even if you cannot see or smell any exhaust fumes.

In an enclosed area without ventilation carbon monoxide can persist for
several days, inhalation of the gas can cause tiredness, headache, nausea,
dizziness and confusion, and can result in death. Seek fresh air and medical
attention immediately if any of these symptoms occur.

Exhaust fumes can be fatal. Never run the Petrol tiller indoors or in an
unventilated area.

Never run the Petrol tiller where there is a risk of the exhaust fumes being
drawn indoors.

Never use the Petrol tiller in a poorly ventilated outdoor environment where
the exhaust fumes cannot easily be dispersed (e.g. in a hollow or large hole).

Never use the Petrol tiller in an enclosed or partially enclosed area, such as a
tent, carport, basement or buildings with one or more side walls.

Always run the Petrol tiller with the exhaust pipe and muffler directed away
from the user.

Make sure that onlookers remain at a safe distance, and never point the
exhaust towards any person.
