Induction Cooktop Operation

To turn the unit on, press the main power button on the far right side.  Once the power is on, you can turn on the
individual elements by pressing the power button associated with the element.  Touch the power slide and move
fi nger to increase or decrease power setting.  The power of the cooking elements can be set in 9 steps and is
displayed by the numbers “1” to “9” in the LED display above the slide.

The highest setting is “P” representing the power booster setting which allows for very fast heat up times.  It is
recommended to use this function for boiling water or other liquids.  Only 2 elements can be used on the power
booster setting at one time.  Attempting to use more than 2 elements could result in automatic reduction of
power on other elements.

Key Lock - Activating the Key lock button locks the keys and the Key Lock LED will remain lit.  The controls
continue to work in the previously set modes but can not be changed.  Only the Key lock button itself and main
power button can still be activated.  Pressing the Key Lock button again until the LED goes out, deactivates the
function.

 Timer  Function

 - There are two timer functions, stand alone and cooking element timer.  The stand alone timer

is used when no cooking element is activated.  Press and hold both the Up and Down button to initate the
timer.  Set the timer using the Up and Down buttons.  When the cooking element timer is activated, a beep will
be heard and a clock will appear above the element slide of the burner in use.  Increase
or decrease the time desired.  The timer can be set up to 9 mins 59 secs.  Once the timer
reaches 10 minutes the display will change to hours.mins.  Up to four cooking elements can be
freely programmed.  To view the diff erent timer, press the UP and Down at same time to scroll
between the diff erent elements being timed.

When time has expired on the cooking element timer, a beep will be heard.  If not canceled, the beep will
continue for 10 mins.  To cancel the beep, press the Up or Down button on the timer.  If the cooking timer has
expired, the stand alone timer will continue to run as long as time remains.   To cancel the timer, press and hold
the UP and Down button to initiate the timer.  Using the down button, set timer to 0.00.

 Pause  Function

 - When activated, all functions of the cooktop are stopped.  The digital display will fl ash

above each element slide control.  To cancel the pause function, press the pause button. A scrollling light will
appear above the far right scale.  Slide your fi nger along the scale to cancel the pause function.  All functions will
return to previous setting.  Pause function has a maximum time limit of 10 minutes.  If the pause function is not
removed before the time limit, the cooktop will shutoff .  There is a 6 second time delay between turning the main
power on and activating the pause function.
