Unlimited Time

Unlimited Time mode allows the user to simply pull the trigger until they are satisfied with the result for a
given reading up to a maximum reading time of 300 nominal (source) seconds (5 minutes). Releasing the
trigger will prompt the instrument to close the safety shutter and display a result.

To setup the Unlimited Time mode, start at the main menu. Select Setup >Mode>Unlimited Time (Fig.
148). Select the Back button.

Stop at Statistics

Stop at Statistics mode automatically terminates the measurement when there is no statistical advantage
to sampling for additional time. This may be beneficial to customers looking for low levels of Pb in
commercial, industrial, and/or institutional inspection work.
To setup this mode, start at the Main Menu. Select Setup > Mode> Stop at Statistics (Fig. 149). Select
the Back button.
