7. If no leaks are evident, regulate pressure to a maximum of 1 bar (15 psi) or to the manu-
facturer‘s maximum pressure and retest. If a leak is found, by listening or if the pointer
falls, it indicates that the system has a leak resulting in loss of pressure. Repair the leak and
retest. If the gauge pointer remains stationary for one minute it will indicate that the system
is in good working order.
8. Release pressurised system by closing the ball valve lever again (operating lever at 90° to
hose axis) and activate the pressure control valve to release pressure from the system.
9. Disconnect the quick coupler, clean and return all items to storage case.
10. Remove all attached tools and connect hose connections in accordance with manufac-
turer‘s specifications.
4 Maintenance and Cleaning
1. Cleaning
• The ViGOR pressure tester should be regularly treated with a proprietary solvent-free clean-
ing agent without grinding additives.
• Always keep the plastic adapters clean and free of oil and grease. Clean them regularly with
a non-aggressive cleaner, ensuring dry before storage.
2. Spare parts
Only use the manufacturer‘s original spare parts.
• Unsuitable or defective spare parts may cause damage, malfunction or total failure of the
device.
• The use of non-approved spare parts will void all warranty, service and liability claims as well
as all claims for compensation against the manufacturer or its agents, distributors and sales
representatives.
3. Storage
The device must be stored in accordance with the following conditions:
Do not store outdoors, keep in a dry and dust-free place.
Do not expose to liquids and aggressive substances.
Storage temperature: +10 up to +30 °C. Relative air humidity: max. 60 %.
4. Disposal
• Disposal has to be made according to the regulations for work safety and environ-
mental protection
• Components can be recycled
• Metal components can be scrapped
