Use an Ethernet cable to connect the NMP-500 . Use the AC power adapter included to connect the
NMP-500 to an AC power source like a wall outlet.

Using Windows XP, click the Windows Start button in the task bar > right-click on My
Network Places > select Properties > right-click on the Network Connection associated
with your Network Adapter and select Properties > click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and
click Properties .
Enter a Static IP Address for example 192.168.12.x, in the same range as the NMP-500 .
IMPORTANT! BE SURE TO CONFIGURE THE NMP-500 AS
SHOWN IN THE FOLLOWING STEPS BEFORE CONNECTING
TO THE NETWORK!
