The Special Function
buttons (top row of
buttons) on the supplied
keyboard don’t work
• If the LED indicator on the keyboard does not
light up when you press any Special keyboard
button, replace the keyboard batteries.
Media Center will not turn
on
When you press the On button on the front of the
Media Center, the following should happen:
• The hard drive in the M2000 spins or the
DVD/CD drive makes a noise.
• The LED indicator (ring around the Power On/
Off button) on the front of the Media Center
glows blue when On, or glows amber when in
Standby mode.
If the above do not occur, check the following:
• The power cord and all cables are securely
attached to the M2000.
• The power cord is plugged into a grounded
outlet. Verify that the outlet is functional by
plugging another device into the outlet.
• The TV and/or the PC monitor is attached
securely to the M2000 and is turned on.
Unable to see the same
image on two connected
display devices (LCD
Display & TV, CRT Monitor
& TV, CRT Monitor and
Plasma Display, etc.).

Right-click on an open area of the Windows
desktop and click
Properties .

Click the Settings tab

Click Advanced .

Click GeForce4 MX440 with AGP8x .

Click nView Display Mode from the pop-out
menu on the left side.

Click the Detect Display button. Two screens
will appear, labeled 1 and 2.

Click the Clone option, and confirm the same
image is visible on both display devices.

Click Yes to accept the new setting.
Media Center locks up
(freezes)

Using the provided keyboard, press the
Windows Start button (button with the
Windows icon between Ctrl and Alt buttons),

Click Turn Off Computer , then click Restart .
