2.2 Danger from toxic liquids and vapours
CAUTION
Toxic liquids or vapors can cause serious or fatal injury if
they come in contact with eyes or skin, if swallowed or
inhaled
Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for
information about the specific hazards of the fluid to be
used
Observe prescribed or recommended safety measures
Store hazardous liquids only in designated containers
and dispose of liquids properly
2.3 Fire and Explosion Hazards
WARNING
Solvents and vapors in the work area may explode or
ignite The risk of fires and explosions can be reduced
Eliminate possible ignition sources, such as permanent
flames, cigarettes and plastic films (danger of sparks
from static electricity)
Avoid sparks, e g caused by plugging and unplugging
power cables or operating light switches when flamma-
ble vapours are present
Keep the work area free of waste, including solvents,
cleaning cloths and gasoline
2.4 Protective equipment
NOTICE
If you operate the cartridge sleeve with toxic or hot
liquids or with high supply , wear appropriate
protective clothing This protective clothing should
protect you from serious injuries, such as eye injuries, in-
halation of toxic vapors, hearing loss or burns
The following protective devices may be necessary:
• Safety goggles
• Gloves
• Hearing protection
• Protective clothing and breathing protection
according to the recommendations of the material
and solvent manufacturers
• Suction
