Boiler Lifting Instructions
Lifting the Boiler
- Connect spreader A to the crane hook.
- Place the wire rope hooks on the lifting bars in 4 places
on each side. Use a spreader, wire ropes and a crane
with a minimum capacity of 7200 lb. (3625 kg).
- Place pads between the boiler and wire ropes so that
the boiler will not be damaged.
- Raise the arm of the crane to such an extent that the
wire ropes become taunt. Make sure that the ropes
are firmly hooked on the boiler body and at the chain
block. If the ropes are not correctly hooked, slacken
and rehook them.
- After checking that the wire ropes are correctly
hooked, operate the crane to lift the boiler.
It is essential to use appropriate lifting devices
certified of lifting to a minimum of the boiler
weight.
WARNING
If flue gas connection is damaged leakage may occur.
Do not lift boiler at the flue gas connection.
The lifting should be performed by a trained technician.
When lifting, take sufficient safety measures and proceed
with great care. Refer to the lifting diagram. All lifting
equipment is field supplied.
