The air is distributed from the ventilation unit to the liv-
ing spaces (supply air), and from wet areas to the ven-
tilation unit (extract air) via the modular flat/round sup-
ply air and extract air ductwork.
Elements of the supply air/extract air ductwork
■ Various air distributors
■ Round ducts
■ Flat ducts
■ Connecting elements
■ Silencers
■ Various air outlets
Position air distribution boxes and 2-way air distribu-
tors near the ventilation unit.
Route supply air and extract air ducts directly from the
relevant air distributors to the individual rooms.
Installation information
■ Danger
Sharp edged metal parts can cause cuts.
Wear safety gloves during installation.
■ In order to avoid complicated duct runs, install the
ventilation ductwork
prior to installing the central
heating, water and waste water services.
■ Ducts must not sag, to prevent condensate accumu-
lating.
■ Contamination must not enter the ductwork.
■ Lubricating paste is required to assemble the compo-
nents. Only use lubricating paste intended for EPDM.
