Proper use
The Tempoplex Plus shower drain is intended for use in flat and superflat shower trays
with a 90 mm waste hole. Only water with a temperature of no more than 95 °C as
commonly encountered in households should be introduced. The introduction of other
liquids is prohibited. No potentially damaging substances such as cleaning agents that
could harm plumbing fixtures, water drainage systems or piping, especially substances
with a pH value ≤ 4, should be introduced.
Installation should be performed by technically qualified personnel in compliance with
local building codes. This shower drain conforms to EN 274.

C Installation steps
Prior to installation, check that a drainage rate of 0.85 l/s at a water height of 15 mm is adequate.
Ball joint socket DN 50 is made of PP (cannot be glued).

Place the double gasket on
the sealing surface and press
into the retaining groove.

Position the body of the drain
with gasket under the shower
tray. Push the upper part
of the double gasket through
the waste hole.

Thread in the mounting
screws by hand.

Tighten the screws evenly.
Do not use a cordless
screwdriver.

Slide the insert pipe into the
odour trap.
햷
Press the cover plate onto
the three retaining points.

Special case

For shower tub bottoms
thicker than 10 mm,
cut the seal.
햳
Cut above the lower
gasket lip.
햴
Place the lower part on the
body of the drain, the upper
part into the waste hole.

Remove the immersion pipe.
햳
Remove the sealing plug
by turning gently with pliers.
햴
Clean the drain pipe with an
appropriate cleaning process.

Insert the sealing plug flush
by hand.

Note the plug position.

Position the immersion pipe
and mount the cover plate
(see fig. C 6).
E Access to the drainage system (cleaning)
Make sure that the odour trap is not damaged during the cleaning process.
