▶ Move the open hinged adapter jaw to the press ring.
▶ Insert the ball heads of the hinged adapter jaw into the contact
points of the press ring.
NOTICE!
Make sure the ball heads sit correctly in the con‐
tact points of the press ring.
▶ Push the handle forward.
▷ The hinged adapter jaw closes.
▶ Align the Press Booster so that safe footing is ensured during
pressing.
▶ Carry out the first pressing with the press machine.

As soon as the first pressing is completed, locking
takes place and prevents a separation of the Press Booster
from the press ring. If you nevertheless need to interrupt the
pressing, see

▶ Immediately after that, carry out the second pressing with the press
machine.
▷ You have pressed the Megapress XL press connector to the
steel pipe.
The lock of the Pressgun-Press Booster opens automatically.
If the pressing is not completed after two press strokes
with the press machine and the Press Booster does not
open automatically, carry out another press stroke. Failure
of the Press Booster to open automatically may be a sign
that maintenance is due, see Ä Chapter 3.6 ‘Care and
maintenance’ on page 17 .
