12.2 Cleaning
Die Schwenk-Neige-Köpfe bedürfen keiner
aufwendigen Wartung. Für die Reinigung des
Gerätes Neutralreiniger und nicht schleifende Tücher
benutzen. Es sei daran erinnert, dass die Einrichtung
wasserundurchlässig ist.
12.2.1 Window and plastic cover
cleaning (PC)
Avoid ethyl alcohol, solvents, hydrogenated
hydrocarbide, strong acid and alkali. Such
products may irreparably damage the
surface.
Surface dirt should be rinsed away with water and
then the window cleaned with a neutral soap diluted
with water, or specific products for spectacle lens
cleaning. These should be applied with a soft cloth.
12.2.2 Cleaning germanium glass
When cleaning the germanium glass take
extra care not to scratch or damage the
outer surface treated with carbon coating.
Damage to this coating could also interfere
with the transparency of the surface to
infrared light. Do not use ethyl alcohol,
solvents, hydrogenated hydrocarbons,
strong acids or alkalis. These products will
irreparably damage the surface of the glass.
We recommend using neutral soap diluted in water.
13 Disposal of waste
materials
