4. TP200 Speakers / Microphone
With the XV panel it will be possible to do two way voice communications. You can connect up to two
wired TP200 (microphone & speakers).
The two way voice module TP200 isn’t include in the panel for safety reasons.
You can see below how to connect the TP200 to the panel:
To have a good two way voice communication:
Thoroughly follow the above wiring diagram.
Power and ground are doubled to maximize the possible panel/speaker distance.
2 (two) TP200 maximum connected to the panel.
Parallel wiring required if 2 TP200s are connected.
Maximum combined length: 40 m, if the first TP200 is 30 meters far from the panel…the
maximum length of the second cable (for 2
nd
TP200) will be maximum 10 meters.
On the panel’s end, strip the wire’s cladding on at least 1cm for a proper contact to be established.
In case of acoustics problems:
The TP200 module has to be fixed to the wall to eliminate vibrations.
The TP200 module has to be fixed 1 meter minimum far from the panel. In order to avoid
interferences with the panel GPRS/GSM module.
To improve the quality of the two way voice communication, move the panel or TP200 position
up to 10 cm can be efficient.
The two way voice communication is a full duplex communication. It’s very important that the
monitoring station operator doesn’t use phone speakers
