It is possible to use a pair of 8 Ohm cabinets with the VX but a special series
lead needs to be used.
Here is a diagram of how this is achieved:
BASS FOCUS SWITCH
This function alters the negative feedback at low frequencies in the poweramp
resulting in a ‘looser’ or ‘tighter’ overall bass response. This will be affected by
the positions of the tone controls so please experiment with this switch to
achieve the bass response you desire.
Effects Loop
The VX has an effects loop, which is a simple, low impedance, series loop.
