MAINTENANCE
This section provides information about
maintaining the pipe stand in proper operating
condition . Replacement parts must be ordered
from Victaulic to ensure proper and safe
operation of the pipe stand .
1.
Clean the upper, intermediate, and bottom
columns with a wire brush to remove any
debris .
2.
Regular lubrication is required for the pipe
stand . On a monthly basis, apply a dry
graphite spray to the upper, intermediate,
and bottom columns . Work the dry
graphite in by using the ratchet to lower
and raise the roller support .
3.
On a monthly basis, apply chain lubricant
to the entire length of the chain .
4.
Lubricate the threaded roll shaft/hex nut
assemblies that retain the polyethylene
wheels .
