Cover Bolt Torque Requirements

Place the system back in service by following the “Placing
the System in Service” section, starting on page 11.
Removing and Replacing Piston Assembly
1.
Perform steps 1 - 7 of the “Required Internal Inspection”
section, starting on page 21.
2.
Disconnect the trim from the piston.
3.
Remove the piston from the valve body.
4.
Clean the back of the valve body to remove any debris that
may interfere with proper piston seating.
5.
Replace the piston with a new, Victaulic-supplied assem-
bly. Make sure the o-ring is installed flush to the piston body.
Tighten the piston into the valve body until metal-to-metal con-
tact occurs.
6.
Re-attach the trim. Refer to the applicable trim drawing for
complete details.
7.
Place the system back in service by following the “Placing
the System in Service” section, starting on page 11.

damage the internal diaphragm.
