To ensure that the KRX-3 is protected during a power surge or failure and that no important data is lost, it
should be connected to an uninterruptible power source (UPS) before use.
To connect the UPS:
•
Locate the KRX-3’s power cord near the 24 VAC power supply. Connect the 24 VAC power supply to
the UPS power receptacle.
•
Connect the UPS power cord to the wall outlet.
•
Power on the UPS and ensure that it is working properly.
NOTE: Refer to your UPS device’s User Manual for detailed information.
