Warranty and liability for defects
VIADRUS a.s. provides basic warranty for the boiler for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase,
but max. 30 months from date of shipment from VIADRUS a.s.
Condition for the validity of the warranty is compliance with the instructions for installation, mainly:
•
Connection according to the manufacturer diagrams by a supplying professional installation company
with a valid installation certificate.
•
Putting into operation by a service company with a valid service certificate.
•
Compliance with the guidelines set out in the operating instructions and installation manual.
•
Performance of periodic inspections given by the manufacturer by a service company with a valid
service certificate.
•
Using original spare parts supplied by the manufacturer.
•
Sending information about the boiler commissioning to the manufacturer (sent by the end user – the
consumer). In particular, it should be indicated when and by whom the boiler was put into operation
and the precise address of the boiler operation.
VIADRUS a.s. provides an extended warranty for the boiler body for a period of 60 months from the date of
purchase, and max. 66 months from date of shipment from VIADRUS a.s.
Condition for recognition of the extended warranty period is:
•
Meeting the conditions for the recognition of the basic warranty period.
•
Sending information about the boiler commissioning to the manufacturer (sent by the service
organization).
•
Performance of regular service inspections within the range specified by the manufacturer by a
service company with a valid service certificate.
For an eventual housing complaint the customer is obliged to submit the packaging label of the boiler
housing. It is located on cardboard in which the housing is dispatched.
User is obliged to entrust fault removal to a contractual service accredited by VIADRUS a.s., otherwise the
guarantee for the proper functioning of the boiler cannot be apply. "Certification of boiler quality and
completeness" serves after its filling as a "Warranty certificate".
User is obliged to carry out regular maintenance of the boiler.
Each notice of defect must be made immediately after its detection, always in writing or by telephone.
In case of failure to comply with the above steps, the warranty provided by the manufacturer cannot be
recognized.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes within the product innovations that need not be
contained in this manual.
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages, unless the product is used in accordance with the
conditions set out in this manual.
The guarantee does not apply to:
- faults caused by improper assembly and improper operation of the product and faults caused by
improper maintenance see chap. 9;
- defects and damages caused by failure to comply with water quality in the heating system see chapter
7.1. or by use of antifreeze;
- product damage during transport or other mechanical damage;
- defects caused by improper storage;
- defects caused by failure to follow instructions provided in this manual;
- defects caused by natural disaster or force majeure.
