CABINET SETUP
Connect the VHT412CEL or 412VHT loudspeaker cabinet to your amplifier’s 16Ω speaker output jack. The loudspeaker cabinet’s rear-panel jacks are wired
in parallel, so you can connect your amplifier to either jack, and you can also use the remaining jack to connect to an additional speaker cabinet.
PROPER CABINET USE
The VHT 412CEL and 412VHT loudspeaker cabinets have four 12” speakers internally wired for a total impedance of 16 ohms. A single VHT
412CEL or 412VHT cabinet works best with a vacuum tube guitar amplifier that has a 16Ω speaker output jack or an impedance selector that
can be set for 16 ohms. Observe proper impedance matching when connecting multiple speaker cabinets, and always use your amplifier’s proper
speaker output jack or speaker impedance selector setting. (Two 16Ω cabinets connected in the conventional parallel manner combine for a total
impedance of 8 ohms. So when using two cabinets, use your amplifier’s 8Ω speaker output jack or set the speaker impedance selector to 8 ohms.)
Maximum power handling capacity is rated at 240 watts. Exceeding this rating can damage the speakers permanently, and this form of abuse is not
covered by the warranty.
