Function check of the retainer for the slip-on coupling:

Remove the locking pin and carefully attempt to pull out the slip-on coupling without
jolting it and without forcing it. The slip-on coupling must not come loose.
Carry out a visual inspection to check for any deformation, cracks or damage.
