Troubleshooting

When you notice an abnormal situation in your appliance, you may attempt to troubleshoot 

according to the following descriptions.
If your appliance does not still operate properly, contact to Vestel Call Center. You may 

access the authorized services list from the web site.

Problem

Cause

Solution

Wine cooler 

does not work

The appliance is not plugged in 

correctly.

Make sure that the appliance is plugged 

to an electrical outlet.

Appliance is switched off.

Switch the appliance on.

Power might be off in the socket, 

there may be a failure or a fuse 

might have blown.

Make sure that the power outlet has elect-

ricity. Check if the fuse is blown.

Wine cooler is 

not cold enough.

Ambient temperature may require 

a higher setting.

Check your temperature settings.

Appliance is 

opened and clo-

sed frequently.

Door might be frequently opened. Try to open the door less frequently.
Door might not be completely 

closed.

Make sure that the door is closed properly.

Door slide might not be closing 

properly.

Check if there is a condition blocking the 

door seal closing.

Light is not ope-

rational.

The appliance is not plugged in 

correctly.

Make sure that the appliance is plugged 

to an electrical outlet.

Fuse is blown.

Check if the fuse is blown.

Light button might be Off.

Switch the light button to On position.

The appliance is 

vibrating.

The appliance might not be instal-

led on a flat surface.

Check whether the wine cooler is on a 

flat surface.

There is extensi-

ve noise coming 

out of wine co-

oler.

Clinking voice may be produced 

during the flow of the coolant fluid.

This is quite normal. You may hear a 

clinking voice during each cycle which is 

produced during the flow of the coolant 

fluid. Enlarging and narrowing of interior 

walls might cause cracking and scrunching 

sounds.

surface

Place the wine cooler on a flat surface.

Door does not 

close properly.

Wine cooler might not be on a flat

Place the wine cooler on a flat surface.

Opening direction of the door 

may have been changed and not 

assembled correctly.

Make sure that the door is assembled 

correctly.

Seal might need cleaning.

Clean the seal with a damp cloth.

Shelves might not be mounted on 

where they should be.

Make sure that the positions of the shelves 

are correct.
