Step-by-step assembly

Take the cable retainer, and with the flat side facing down, fit the large round hole over the circular lug next to the cable stop.

Screw the cable retainer in place with the remaining screw.

That completes this stage. The illustration on the right shows how the assembly appears when the handlebars are in place on the model.
