This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only
the power required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base
station antenna, the lower the power output of the phone.
Before a phone model is available for sale to the public, it is tested to confirm compliance
with the guidelines. The tests are performed in positions and locations (e.g.,at the ear and
worn on the body) that conform to a uniform testing methodology determined by an expert
standards body.
The highest SAR values of this model are DCS band head SAR : 0.102 mW/g, GSM band head
SAR : 0.641 mW/g. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones
and at various positions, they all meet the governmental requirement for safe exposure.
Please note that improvements to this product model could cause differences in the SAR
value for later products; in all cases, products are designed to be within the guidelines.
The SAR limit recommended by international guidlines (ICNIRP) for mobile phones used by
the public is 2.0 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over ten grams of tissue. The limit
incorporates a substantial margin for safety to give additional protection for the public
and to account for any variations in measurements.
