Using your Vertu phone
Answering a call
When you receive an incoming call, a ringing tone is played and a call
message is displayed. Your Vertu phone will also vibrate if you have set a
vibrating alert.
Adjusting listening volume
Ending or rejecting calls
To SoftBank SIM users
Please make the following settings, if you have occasions to make
international calls.
Register international prefix code (first time only):
1. From the stand-by display, select
Menu

Settings
»
Call
»
International Prefix
»
Edit IDD Prefix
2. Enter “010”, and then select
Save
Change the setting below, depending on your current location:
1. From the stand-by display, select
Menu

Settings

Call
»
International Prefix
2. Depending on the country you are staying in, select either of the
following
>
When you are in Japan, select
Automatic
>
When you are in a country outside Japan, select
Off
Press the [Send] key to answer an
incoming call or press the
[Navigation] key when you see
Answer
on the screen.
To change the earpiece volume
while you are making a call, press
the upper or lower [Volume] keys
on the left side of the phone.
To increase the volume, press the
upper [Volume] key (

). To
decrease the volume, press the
lower [Volume] key (

).
Tip:
While in a call, you can use the speaker phone for a hands-free
call. Use the right [Selection] key to press
Loudsp.
to switch to
speaker phone.
Press the [End] key to end a call or
reject an incoming call.
