Inserting the battery
The SIM card and its contacts are easily damaged.
Be careful when handling, inserting or removing the SIM card.

Warning: Always switch the phone off and disconnect the
charger before removing or replacing the battery.
With the back of the Vertu
phone facing you, lift the top
half of the battery cover
release D-ring with your finger
nail.
Hold it between your thumb
and forefinger and turn
anticlockwise until the back
cover pops open.
Raise the battery cover slightly

) and then move the cover
gently towards the top of the
phone (

Insert the battery at an angle
(

) so that the battery contacts
align with the contacts in the
battery compartment.
Lower the battery into the
battery compartment (

) and
ensure that the battery is
seated correctly before
replacing the battery cover.
To replace the back cover,
carefully insert the internal clip
(

) on the inside of the battery
cover into the slot below the
battery (
2
).
