Using the Handset
When you pick up the handset and press TALK , the
“ACQUIRING LINK” message appears, as shown on
the right.
After the connection has been made between the
handset and base unit, the
TALK icon appears on the
display. The screen goes into standby mode and the
phone is ready to use.
If the handset is at the range limit of the Ranger
Cordless Telephone , or no power is going to the base
unit, you may see the “NO SERVICE” message, as
shown on the right.
Take the following action:
During a Call … In Standby Mode …
The sound is muted. You can not make or answer a call (phone may
ring intermittently).
Action --> Move back in range within 20
seconds or check power to the base unit.
Action --> Move back within range, or check the
power to the base unit.
