pinouts of the DB9M connectors apply to the serial connectors on the VersaLogic breakout board
CBR-5009.

These connectors use IEC 61000-4-2-rated TVS components to help protect against ESD
damage.

On Rev. 4 boards, the COM3 and COM4 connectors have a nonstandard pinout.
The RxD+ and RxD- signals are transposed, as shown in Table 11. The standard
pinout is used on Rev. 5 boards, as shown in Table 10.
